  • Sushi Wednesday
  • Anika's basketball fun day Wednesday after school.
  • Chocolate Sales for year 8 camp after school Friday
  • Friday is the school disco. Depending on the countries Alert Level, we will either have this in the evening, as planned, or we will have a celebration day at school. We will keep you updated.
Paula is away next Wednesday and Thursday on a Wellbeing 2 day course. Whaea Sue Brown will be in the team with Molly.

We are still busy diving deeper into our Inquiry around waste and different peoples perspectives.
Here are some photos of one of our activities. We had to find pictures to match this question 'What do I know about ENERGY?'

Today we had a House Day, run by one of our fabulous year 8's Issie. Check out some of the great photos, plus a few from the NZ Playhouse show.

Week 8

Welcome to week 8!

We know that Molly's happy about having a second winter, but are you? At least we have the blossoms and daffodils to smile at.

Only 3 weeks left of the term, time's flown by!

Thank you for supporting your child with the inquiry task this week. With our Inquiry theme being exploring different perspectives around 'Waste', last week we touched on food waste, this week we're looking at Money waste and a new character will be introduce next week.

What you need to know:

  • Look out for Seesaw posts, including our BFG triorama's
  • Tuesday-School Photos
  • Friday- Subway (Order via KINDO), Assembly, NZ Playhouse performance 1:45pm

Look who popped in for a visit today. Ms. B is one of the best storytellers we know. While she was with us, she read some of our serial story, The BFG, we were all captivated.

Check out the poster below. This is an after school event being run by one of our Year 8 students as part of her leadership project. More information will come out closer to the time.

Week 7

 This term is flying by.

As we are staying in Alert Level 2 for awhile, please keep in touch via emails if you need to know anything or if you need our support. We are here for you all!

We've been busy this week learning about how we can preserve food to reduce waste.

What's happening this coming week:

  • Pizza Friday
Please remember that the team space is not open until 8:30am. We often are in meeting and for health and safety reasons, we don't want students in the team space.

A friendly reminder that your child should be reading their book sent home from school.

Have a nice weekend,

Molly, Paula & Lynn
